"The trilogy has been an eye opening experience for me so far as, for one, I never expected something like this to come to my attention via Connexion Bizarre, and secondly, me liking anything even vaguely country never even crossed my mind."

CAUSE = TIME hails EP ((O)) as...
"... it’s cowboy-shoegaze, or if Spirtualized had a baby with Beck’s “Sea Change” album."
WOW, OVERWHELMED, BRAINWASHED reviews EP((O))... --"Every piece seems like it has a warm, shimmering halo of synth bliss around it, which provides a very effective soft-focus counterbalance to Sampson's gritty heartbreak." --"Sampson is anything but mopey. In fact, he's a very charismatic, powerful, and articulate vocalist. He's a damn good songwriter too, as each of the eight pieces here is simple, direct, and memorably hooky." --"It is highly improbable that this band will be able to remain a secret if this EP gets heard." --"I like this a lot." Truly honored and overwhelmed to hear Tyler Potts and Roger Green do a cover of "Ears Burn" by Wentworth Kersey yesterday at the UMS. Both these artists have influenced my career/sound perhaps more than anyone else in Denver. Check out their touching performance below.
Wentworth Kersey, george&caplin, and Sandusky will be working on an original soundtrack to coincide with Mitch Dickman's film "Hanna Ranch." Here's the first trailer...ohh how excited we are.
Like a rare desert flower on a prickly pear, Wentworth Kersey shall bloom for a few rare live shows this summer and fall. The first show is at the UMS Friday July 23rd @ 8:30pm and an EP ((O)) Release Show shall follow some time this fall. Stay tuned.
Mastering process of EP ((O)) began today with the notably fine Colin Bricker.

“The sunlight illuminates her face and tinges it with a brave melancholy. Fine. Everything is fine.”
“As the moonlight makes its crazy way over every tile in the women’s bathroom, as if its course – and this is a terrifying thought – exhausted all the possibilities of subversion.”
